Senior .NET Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with extensive experience in both traditional ASP.NET and .NET Core, and over 9 years of Object-Oriented (OO) programming experience with enterprise-grade applications.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade applications using both traditional ASP.NET and .NET Core.
  • Work extensively with Umbraco CMS to manage and enhance existing setups.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and improvements.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through best practices and optimization techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge of best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of development processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both traditional ASP.NET and .NET Core, with a solid understanding of database management systems, including SQL Server.

Experience with other CMS platforms and frameworks is also desirable.

Umbraco Expertise

A thorough understanding of Umbraco CMS is essential for this role, with experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration is also preferred.

Agile Methodologies

The successful candidate will be experienced in agile methodologies and have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required.

Education and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is necessary for this role.
