We are seeking a seasoned Product Development Executive to lead our product development initiatives.

Job Summary:

This role involves creating innovative, functional, and cost-effective furniture designs that align with market trends, customer needs, and manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute new product designs and prototypes based on market research and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product concepts with business goals.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to assess the practicality of new designs and materials for manufacturing.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, product specifications, and BOMs for new designs.
  • Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Work with suppliers to identify and source suitable materials for product development.
  • Ensure all designs comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all product development processes, iterations, and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year in product development, preferably in the furniture manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or 3ds Max. Familiarity with prototyping techniques and tools.
  • Strong understanding of furniture materials, production processes, and quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and drive innovation in product design and development.
