Warehouse Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all inventory is accurately updated on a daily basis, and coordinating with warehouse managers to maintain records of all inwards and outwards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Update all inventory on a daily basis across the warehouse on ERP/Excel/Quick Book.
- Record Keeping: Coordinate with warehouse managers for maintaining records of all inwards and outwards.
- Process Improvement: Devise and implement SOPs to optimize warehouse operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Be the link between Operations and accounting teams.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accounting entries and bookkeeping of all transactions through the accounts team.
- Logistics Coordination: Ensure timely dispatch and consolidation of all orders and optimize the use of delivery vehicles.
- Physical Inventory: Conduct weekly physical inventory of warehouses.
- Inventory Tracking: Fill logs of inventory sheets.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Reconcile physical and entered stock on a weekly basis, providing timely reports on any discrepancies.
- Storage Optimization: Ensure optimum storage conditions for all stock in the warehouse.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Accurately calculate total supply chain costs in relation to proposed new projects.
- Cost Comparison: Obtain quotes for transportation and make cost comparisons.
- Strategic Planning: Strategy planning of warehouse, logistic operations, procurement, and inventory levels.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Develop standard SOPs for warehouse operations.
- Cycle Counting and Reconciliation: Conduct stock cycle counts and inventory reconciliation in management application ERP.
