Electrical Engineering Expert

The ideal candidate will help bring ownership for a design de-risking of PCBA driven by aging design or supply chain issues. This position involves working closely with global sites to ensure that Change Management achieves maturity.

This role requires a professional level member of a global R&D Team, responsible for new product design and updates of existing products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive PCBA Risk mitigation strategy and execution of projects for Electronics commodities.
  • Responsible for technical delivery of all Electrical & Electronics related projects.
  • Implement technically sophisticated projects from scoping to implementation.
  • Support product regulatory compliance testing.
  • Synthesize specifications of electronic components into product fitment.
  • Participate in system/subsystem design reviews.
  • Design schematic of digital, mixed signal & power electronics circuit boards.
  • Work on multiple simultaneous projects to suit business needs.
  • Provide design options & tradeoff analysis.
  • Build design documents for design review.
  • Verify design performance qualifying requirements.
  • Collaborate with multi-domain teams for compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate manufacturing with sourcing team and suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent understanding of Electrical and Electronics Engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to drive decisions through design and simulation tools.
  • Can conceptualize design architectures & identify challenges.
  • Independently conceptualize and run design calculations.
  • Contribute to design analysis and simulation.
  • Conduct testing as per test plans.
  • Capture schematic based on design documents.
  • Build design documents & artifacts as per design process.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with over 6 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of Circuit design and Simulation tools.
  • Handle Low to medium complexity projects independently.
  • Engage with project multi-functional teams for reviews.
