Job Description

The Academic Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of educators in the designated area, ensuring improvement in School Supervision and Support (SSR), fee collection enhancement, and day-to-day fleet management. This includes managing administrators to perform overall administrative duties and academic data management.

The Academic Team Leader maintains strong relationships with community members, encouraging the use of community resources to support schools. They facilitate communication between principals and parents, attend parent-student meetings, and liaise with stakeholders on education-related activities.

The role involves working collaboratively with other team leaders to share best practices and provide feedback, supporting regional development. The Academic Team Leader strengthens the principal cohort to improve quality, works with HR to recruit local principals, and ensures participation in Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) visits.

This position also focuses on improving teacher quality by strengthening the teacher cohort through Content and Pedagogy Training (CPT). The Academic Team Leader works with principals to recruit quality teachers, conducts classroom observations, and provides consistent feedback.

To address struggling schools, the Academic Team Leader develops action plans, implements strategies, and follows up regularly to ensure improvement. They plan and develop area improvement plans clearly linked to whole school and area improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong command over English and Urdu.
  • Proficiency in using computer software (MS Office, Internet, etc.). Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
