Senior Backend Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned backend developer to contribute to the growth of our engineering department.

This role involves designing, developing and deploying scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have expertise in integrating APIs, databases and message queues as well as strong proficiency in code reviews, testing and debugging.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement backend systems for data processing and storage.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of systems.
    • Develop and maintain high-quality code ensuring optimal performance and security.
    • Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging to guarantee reliability and stability.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and MVC architecture.
  • Experience with RDBMS (MySQL), MongoDB and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
  • Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ) and cache storage (Redis).
  • Familiarity with SOLID principles, object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Good understanding of RESTful services, Git version control and cloud platforms.
