The role of an E-commerce Platform Specialist at a dynamic company involves playing a vital part in the development and management of direct-to-consumer (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platforms. To excel, you must have a deep understanding of Shopify, digital marketing, and e-commerce infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • E-commerce Platform Management: Oversee theme updates, product launches, page buildouts, and site customizations to ensure seamless functionality and a great user experience.
  • B2B Storefront Development: Develop and optimize the B2B e-commerce experience to support business clients, providing an exceptional shopping experience that drives business success.
  • Backend System Optimization: Develop and manage Shopify flows, automations, and apps to enhance platform efficiency and scalability, leveraging data analytics and insights.
  • Digital Marketing Integration: Manage online marketing initiatives, including reviews, referrals, affiliate programs, SEO, and more, to drive growth and engagement through effective digital marketing strategies.
  • Custom Development Projects: Oversee private app development and platform integrations as needed, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track performance, provide actionable insights, and drive data-informed decisions that inform business strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Extensive expertise in Shopify, including end-to-end store builds and platform management.
  2. Experience working with Shopify apps to enhance site functionality and user experience.
  3. Proficiency in Klaviyo for email marketing and automation.
  4. Strong understanding of analytics software and data analysis.
  5. Excel/data analysis skills for reporting and performance tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Background in web development or data science.
  2. Experience managing blended D2C and B2B Shopify stores for high-growth brands, driving business success and revenue growth.
