MEP Engineer Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Manager to oversee and manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in high-rise buildings. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project management, team leadership, and ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Reporting and Documentation: Preparation of reports, tender documents, engineering calculations, specifications, budgeting, and literature for HVAC, firefighting, vertical transport, plumbing works, and electrical works.
- Design Review: Scrutiny and comparing of shop drawings with the design and tender drawings.
- Contract Management: Technical scrutiny of contracts, supervising the installation works at site, processing of contractor's bills.
- Loading Calculations: Load calculation for all MEP works.
- Project Operation: Project operation procedures management and control.
- Progress Monitoring: Progress payment preparation and progress monitoring.
- Documentation Submission: Shop drawings and material submittals on time preparation and submission.
- Quality Control: Quality control procedures.
- Labor Management: Labor placement and teamwork abilities.
- Site Coordination: Site coordination and management capabilities.
- Bills Review: Reviewing bills of quantities and scope of work.
- Variation Analysis: Preparation of work and cost analysis for variations.
- Technical Reporting: Technical report writing and project planning.
- Cost Estimation: Cost estimation and technical detailing of projects.
- MPE Coordination: Coordination of all MEP works in the project.
- Material Inspection: PPRC, uPVC, GI material inspection and installation.
- Project Monitoring: Project cost controlling and monitoring using Primavera P6.
- Software Proficiency: Strong grip on AutoCAD, Microsoft, and MEP software.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably a Civil Engineer.
- Experience: 10+ years' experience in supervision of new construction and remodeling projects.
- Tech Skills: Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
- Compliance: Knowledge of building code requirements and scheduling methods.
