About the Job

We are looking for a skilled MERN Stack Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing Web Applications: Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  2. Designing APIs and Microservices: Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
  3. Collaborating with Front-end Developers: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  4. Optimizing Applications: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  5. Writing Clean Code: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  6. Troubleshooting Issues: Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
  7. Staying Up-to-Date: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  8. Mentoring Junior Developers: Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

  1. Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on the MERN stack.
  3. React.js Expertise Required: Extensive experience with React.js and its core principles.
  4. Understanding of Node.js: Solid understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
  5. MongoDB Skills: Proficiency in MongoDB, including schema design and optimization.
  6. Git Experience: Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  7. Agile Methodologies Familiarity: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  8. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  9. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  1. Cloud Platforms Experience: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  2. DevOps Practices Familiarity: Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  3. Front-end Technologies Knowledge: Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
  4. TypeScript Experience: Experience with TypeScript.
  5. Authentication Mechanisms Understanding: Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT.
