Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager to join our Research and Development team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and excellent leadership skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research work and troubleshooting in the areas of tanning, dyeing, and finishing. This includes monitoring trends and studying variations in physical and chemical testing of leather and chemicals.

In addition, the Assistant Manager will study leather-related journals and assist the Manager R & D in developing new processes. They will also bring about minimum cost formulation by researching websites of chemical suppliers and other related topics.

Another key responsibility is to ensure the most economical consumption of water during the tanning process. The Assistant Manager will also conduct trials for the wet blue process using new and environmentally friendly techniques and address production-related problems.

Daily tasks include attending DC checking and pre-dyeing quality checking. Furthermore, the Assistant Manager will spend one hour daily in the dyeing department to understand production issues and work with the Manager R & D to find solutions.

Last but not least, the Assistant Manager will conduct internal audits of management systems to ensure compliance and improve efficiency.
