This role plays a vital part in maintaining optimal inventory management and forecasting accuracy within the organisation.

  • Utilising historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights, this position requires accurate demand forecasting to meet customer demands.
  • Closely collaborating with supply chain, sales, trading, and finance teams, this expert develops and implements demand forecasting strategies that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting Demand: Utilise data-driven insights to forecast demand and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, stock managers, category managers, promotional, and marketing teams to gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and sales projections.
  • Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of inventory levels and trends across all business units to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance demand planning processes, tools, and methodologies for promotional and seasonal demand forecasting.

  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, reducing waste and excess stock.

  • Adaptability: Remain adaptable and flexible in response to changing market trends, customer demands, and organisational requirements.
