Key Responsibilities

This Senior Database Developer role requires a strong background in SQL Server 2012+. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions that support our software products. Your expertise will be utilized to ensure our data architecture is robust, efficient, and scalable.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
  • Designing and Implementing:Building and optimizing SQL Server databases, focusing on creating scalable data models and robust database architecture.
  • Developing Complex Stored Procedures & Functions:Writing and enhancing complex stored procedures, views, and functions to support application functionality and performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimizing Performance:Monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting databases to maintain high performance and data concurrency.
  • Implementing Data Integration:Implementing ETL processes and supporting business intelligence initiatives through tools such as SSIS and SSAS.
  • Managing Data Backup & Recovery:Managing database backup/restore strategies, including replication, mirroring, and log shipping.
  • Working with Modern Databases:Utilizing MongoDB, Cassandra, and other NoSQL databases to meet specific project requirements.
  • Collaborating on Version Control & Deployment:Collaborating on version control, deploying changes seamlessly across QA and production environments.

Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
  • Advanced Technical Expertise:Experience in complex data modeling, development, and performance tuning using SQL Server 2012+.
  • Familiarity with Emerging Technologies:Familiarity with Big Data, Python, BI, and other evolving technologies.
  • Certification:SQL Server certification or other relevant credentials.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver effective solutions.
  • Effective Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fostering clear collaboration within and outside the development team.
