Assembly Technician

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints, as well as the ability to measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping. You will also need to be proficient in using various tools such as grinders, drills, and welding equipment.

In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and maintenance teams to ensure that all equipment is functioning efficiently. Your physical stamina and ability to work independently with minimal supervision will also be essential.

1. Key Responsibilities:
2. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
3. Measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping
4. Fabricate parts using various tools
5. Install machinery and equipment according to specifications
6. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs
7. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Assembly Technician or similar role
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to handle tasks that may require heavy lifting or standing for extended periods of time
