About This Role

As a seasoned Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of cutting-edge software applications. We are looking for an individual with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to join our team.

This position involves coordinating technical and business aspects of software development activities, including requirement analysis, design, and implementation of applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert opinion and guidance on business and technical matters
  • Support and coordinate technical and business aspects of software development activities
  • Act as a point of contact for technical issues
  • Mentor junior staff members and lead the effort in resolving technical challenges

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with test frameworks (Pytest)
  • Experience with AWS (optional but a plus)
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (AWS cloudwatch)
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases

Benefits and Other Information

This is a full-time position with regular working hours from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and at least 4-7 years of experience in backend development with Python.

The selected candidate will be required to take on additional responsibilities as needed and encourage cohesion and team building within the team.
