Lead Unreal Engine Developer Position

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in Unreal Engine development, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement game mechanics, interactive systems, and features using Unreal Engine blueprints and C++.
  • Collaborate with artists and designers to integrate assets, animations, and visual effects seamlessly within the engine.
  • Optimize performance and ensure the technical feasibility of designs across target platforms.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring stability and quality of the final product.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and pipelines to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Unreal Engine features, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Document technical designs and implementation details clearly and concisely.
  • Potentially contribute to the development of custom engine plugins or modifications as needed.
    • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of professional experience working with Unreal Engine.
    • Strong understanding of game development principles and workflows.
    • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 4 or 5, including Blueprint visual scripting and C++.
    • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
    • Experience with gameplay programming (e.g., character movement, AI, physics)
    • UI/UX implementation within Unreal Engine (UMG)
    • Animation systems and state machines
    • Networking concepts (multiplayer development experience is a plus)
    • Performance optimization techniques
    • Source control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce)
    • Familiarity with content creation pipelines and integration of assets from software like Maya, Blender, or Substance Painter.
    • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
