PHP/WordPress Developer
A sought-after Web Development Expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge web applications using PHP and WordPress. Your expertise in backend development, especially with PHP, will ensure seamless performance and high availability of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of existing WordPress based projects.
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability at all times.
  • Management of all technical aspects of content management platforms.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging coding errors in WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality into WordPress themes and Plugins.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is a must.
  • Ability to write clean, solid, scale-able code.
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
  • Knowledge of proficient understanding of web mark-up, especially HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Understanding of client-side scripting, js frameworks, incl jquery.
  • Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, ajax.
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Chrome DevTools.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git).
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & de-facto standard plugins.
  • Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level.
  • Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions.
  • Creation of custom post types.
  • Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress coding standards.
  • Creation of clean, logical, well-documented, and re-usable code.
  • Theme/Template integration.
  • Knowledge and experience of web accessibility.
  • Responsive Design.
  • WordPress Plug-in development and customization.
  • WordPress Theme Concepts.
