Role Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for an Educational Counsellor based in the region. The Educational Counsellor will be responsible for providing educational consulting, student counseling, career counseling, and facilitating communication related to education on a day-to-day basis.

About the Role

The primary goal of this position is to provide expert guidance to students and parents regarding higher education opportunities in the UK. This includes advising on course selection, university choices, and navigating the application process.

A key aspect of this role is fostering strong relationships with local schools, institutions, and relevant stakeholders to promote collaboration and mutual understanding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of the UK education system, its universities, and courses offered.
  • Providing accurate and unbiased information to clients about higher education options, including admissions procedures, tuition fees, and living costs.
  • Assisting students in selecting the most suitable academic pathways, taking into account their interests, abilities, and career aspirations.
  • Facilitating communication between clients, educational institutions, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth transitions and informed decision-making.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the UK education system. A Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential, along with experience in educational advising or consulting.

You should be able to work effectively in a team environment, think critically, and demonstrate sound judgment in resolving complex issues.
