ITAM and Procurement Strategist

As a skilled Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing and supplier management, cost management, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT hardware and software products, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and experience in procurement preferably in the IT industry.

• Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure timely and accurate procurement of goods and services. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to optimize costs without compromising quality.
• Procurement Process Management: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to streamline data management and inform decision-making.
• Cost Management: Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction strategies. Monitor and analyze procurement spend to identify areas for cost optimization.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Evaluate and mitigate procurement risks to ensure the integrity of our procurement processes. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on procurement best practices.

• Excellent German language communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the IT industry.
• Strong understanding of IT hardware and software products.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, contract, and vendor management skills.
