Senior Research Role in Clinical Trials

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Research Assistant to contribute to an important study on treatment adherence in HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis patients. As a key member of the research team, you will assist in data collection, patient interviews, and manuscript writing.

About the Position

This is a short-term contractual role to support a research project at a tertiary care center in Pakistan. The research will be conducted in collaboration with the National TB Program.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting patients for the registry through targeted outreach and engagement
  • Collecting data through phone calls, online portal entry, and patient interactions
  • Collaborating on manuscript writing and publication in reputable scientific journals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public administration, or a related field from a recognized university
  • At least 1 year of experience in clinical research projects, with a strong focus on data collection and analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and management skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Office, with a strong understanding of data management and analysis tools
