Community Health Educator Job Opportunity

Our organization seeks a qualified and motivated Community Health Educator to join our team. The role involves conducting engaging health and wellbeing sessions for factory workers, focusing on preventive care, occupational health, and general wellbeing.

The educator will play a vital role in improving health awareness among working populations through field-based, interactive learning sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health and wellbeing education sessions at assigned factories as per the monthly/weekly plan.
  • Deliver information in an engaging, culturally sensitive, and easy-to-understand manner tailored to the literacy level of the audience.
  • Coordinate with the program team and factory focal persons to schedule sessions.
  • Organize sessions on key health topics including hygiene, nutrition, stress management, reproductive health, communicable diseases, and workplace safety.
  • Provide brief medical advice during sessions if required and refer cases needing attention.
  • Document session details including attendance, key observations, and participant feedback.
  • Share insights and trends observed during field sessions with the program team for follow-up.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • MBBS degree from a recognized institution (required).
  • Valid license in medicine is mandatory.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in community health, public health education, or health promotion roles preferred.
