About the Mason Role

This position involves constructing and repairing structures using materials like bricks, concrete blocks, and stones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measuring, cutting, and laying out materials with precision and accuracy.
  • Mixing and applying mortar effectively to ensure structural integrity.
  • FOLLOWING precise blueprints and construction plans to deliver high-quality results.
  • Operating a range of tools including trowels, levels, chisels, hammers, and saws safely and correctly.
  • Maintaining quality control and accuracy of work to meet industry standards.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a skilled tradesperson in masonry.
  • Excellent physical stamina and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Good balance and agility, especially for work at heights or in confined spaces.
