Strategic SEO Leader Position

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to drive organic traffic and improve keyword rankings.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO principles, including on-page, off-page, local, e-commerce, and technical optimization. They will also have experience with site audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap evaluations.

  • Develop and implement strategic SEO plans to increase website visibility and drive organic traffic
  • Conduct in-depth site audits to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for optimization
  • Perform thorough keyword research and competitor analysis to inform SEO strategies
  • Optimize website structure, page experience, schema markup, and internal linking to improve user experience and search engine ranking
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and crawl/index performance
  • Lead and mentor junior SEO staff, coordinate with content, design, and development teams, and work closely with leadership to align SEO performance with overall business goals
  • Create and deliver detailed monthly SEO reports and dashboards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional SEO experience (agency or in-house)
  • Demonstrated success in ranking competitive keywords and increasing organic visibility
  • Strong command of SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS platforms
  • Excellent understanding of Google's ranking signals and algorithm updates
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Team leadership, task delegation, and mentoring experience
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and technical implementation best practices
