Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team at A1RForce Ltd. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in web development, with expertise in HTML/XHTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, and JSP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and the Development Team to create detailed specification documents, ensuring timely project completion and deliverables.
  • Provide project estimates during the sales process, including expertise required, total personnel needed, and development hours necessary.
  • PARTicipate in client meetings throughout the sales and development phases.
  • Work with clients and Project Managers to design and refine website graphics, leveraging strong Photoshop skills or equivalent applications.
  • Transform raw images and layouts from graphic designers into CSS/XHTML themes.
  • Determine suitable architectures and technical solutions, offering recommendations to clients as needed.
  • Maintain open communication with Project Managers regarding project progress and delays, driving outside-the-box thinking to deliver exceptional value to clients.
  • Notify colleagues about emerging technologies and opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities.
  • Engage actively in the development community of your chosen CMS, contributing regularly.
  • Develop innovative, reusable web tools for activism and community building.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in HTML/XHTML and CSS.
  • 2+ years of web programming experience, including PHP, ASP, or JSP.
  • 1 year of experience working with relational database systems (e.g., MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle) and a solid understanding of SQL.
  • Development experience using extensible web authoring tools.
  • Experience developing and implementing open-source software projects.
  • A self-starter with strong self-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
