Job Title:

A successful Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving growth and revenue through strategic partnerships, business development, and sales.

  • Review and analyze government contract opportunities (RFQs/RFPs) to identify potential projects that align with the company's goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including subcontractors, vendors, and government officials.
  • Prepare customized Scope of Work (SOW) documents that meet the requirements of each project.
  • Coordinate and gather necessary documentation from subcontractors, such as pricing, licenses, insurance, and certifications.
  • Draft or assist in drafting bid proposals, compliance documents, and submission packages.
  • Act as a liaison between the company, subcontractors, and government contracting officers or agency representatives to clarify project scope, expectations, and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of submissions, correspondence, and subcontractor performance.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, contract administration, or subcontractor management, preferably within U.S. federal contracting.
  • Strong understanding of federal contracting terms, compliance needs, and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and coordinate with multiple parties simultaneously.
