Immunization Expert

Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Vaccinator to administer vaccines to infants, children, and adults according to established guidelines and protocols. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in vaccine administration and be responsible for providing high-quality immunizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely administer vaccines to patients following established guidelines and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of vaccine inventory, including quantities and expiration dates.
  • Ensure the availability of adequate vaccine supplies and inform supervisors of potential shortages.
  • Care for and maintain electronic equipment and medical supplies used by the team.
  • Administer correct dosages of vaccines to children according to EPI protocols.
  • Foster strict infection control measures within the vaccination program.
  • Collect and record program data on designated templates.
  • Communicate with parents or caregivers regarding follow-up visits.
  • Perform troubleshooting and support tasks as required by supervisors.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Matric or above with Diploma in Vaccination.
