Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, while identifying opportunities to expand business.

  • Customize sales presentations to cater to the specific needs of each client or sales outlet.
  • Focus sales efforts on high-volume customers and dealers.
  • Process orders efficiently by referencing price lists and product literature.
  • Provide regular activity and results reports to management, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly territory analyses.
  • Maintain market competitiveness by gathering information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Enhance professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Record historical data by maintaining accurate records of area and customer sales.
