GIS Developer and Modeling Expert Job Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled GIS Developer and Modeling Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Geographic Information System (GIS) solutions and modeling expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement GIS solutions to support decision-making and policy development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify GIS needs and requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality GIS models and tools.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on GIS-related topics.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as Computer Science, Geographical Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in GIS development, analysis, and modeling.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with GIS software, including ArcGIS, QGIS, or other relevant tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
