Electrical Design Specialist for Energy Efficient Projects

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Specialist to spearhead the development of energy efficient projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering design and project management, with expertise in generator sizing and substation design.

They will be responsible for developing comprehensive electrification designs for large-scale building projects, ensuring energy efficiency through effective system planning and implementation.

In addition to design expertise, the successful candidate will identify and develop project feasibility studies for energy efficiency projects, including solar energy initiatives.

They will also collaborate with teams to design electrical systems for green buildings, applying financial modeling skills to inform project decisions.

A key requirement for this role is the ability to lead and manage teams to deliver electrical engineering projects efficiently, while maintaining strong leadership skills and hands-on management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Electrification Designs: Comprehensive designs for large-scale building projects, focusing on energy efficiency.
  • Conduct Generator Sizing and Substation Design: Ensure energy efficiency through effective system planning and implementation.
  • Project Feasibility Studies: Identify and develop project feasibility studies for energy efficiency projects, including solar energy.
  • Electrical System Design: Collaborate with teams to design electrical systems for green buildings.
  • Financial Modeling: Apply financial modeling skills to inform project decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage teams to deliver electrical engineering projects efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Strong Background in Electrical Engineering: Experienced in electrical engineering design and project management.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in generator sizing, substation design, and project management tools such as Primavera and MS Project.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to travel extensively for project work.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
