Research Chemist

Job Summary:

As a highly skilled Research Chemist, you will be responsible for developing new colors and products for customers. Your key responsibilities include performing qualification testing of developed products and optimizing existing formulas for performance and cost-saving results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate and approve raw materials to ensure their quality and suitability for use in product development.
2. Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers on project-related matters.
3. Establish schedules and log lab requests and projects assigned in areas of responsibility.
4. Coordinate work efforts with other chemists and technicians to set priorities and accomplish departmental objectives as a team.
5. Assist production teams with scale-up processes and problem analysis.
6. Maintain good practice of safety and housekeeping procedures in the laboratory.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and strive for reduction of costs and waste.
