Supply Chain Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned supply chain leader to drive upstream operations, S&OP maturity, and compliance across our pharmaceutical business.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of pharma regulations, quality systems, and digital tools for planning and procurement. Experience in cold chain operations, international logistics, and export planning is also essential.

About the Role

This strategic role requires close collaboration with various functions, including manufacturing, quality, and distribution teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving S&OP processes, strengthening supplier networks, and embedding compliance and digitisation across supply processes.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain or related industries, with clear upstream exposure. A proven track record of building, scaling, or restructuring supply chain teams and systems is also required.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead upstream supply chain operations, including raw material/API procurement, import planning, and supplier relationship management.
  2. Drive effective S&OP processes to ensure alignment between demand, production, and procurement.
  3. Oversee planning and coordination for local and export markets, managing timelines, lead times, and inventory buffers.
  4. Strengthen cold chain management and logistics practices, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met end-to-end.
  5. Partner with IBL Ops to ensure efficient distribution, inventory visibility, and service level improvements.
  6. Ensure full regulatory and compliance alignment across supply operations, including DRAP, GDP, GMP, and import/export protocols.
  7. Build and develop a high-performing supply chain team, upgrading processes, tools, and mindsets.
  8. Leverage SAP MRP for integrated planning, procurement, and performance monitoring.
What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need to bring a collaborative mindset, strong coordination and influencing skills, and a proven ability to build and scale supply chain teams.

A working knowledge of SAP (preferably SAP MRP) and digital tools for planning and procurement is also essential. Strong understanding of pharma regulations and quality systems (DRAP, GMP, GDP) is also required.

Your experience in cold chain operations, international logistics, and export planning will enable you to effectively manage timelines, lead times, and inventory buffers.
