Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to assume the role of Chief Governance and Compliance Officer. This critical position requires expertise in governance, risk assessment, and compliance functions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization's adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards. They will also develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cyber Security from a recognized institution with a minimum 4-year duration.
  • Degree must be recognized and attested by the relevant authorities.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-graduation experience, with at least 2 years in governance, risk management, and compliance roles.
  • Certification in ISO-27001 is preferred but not mandatory.
Desirable Skills and Competencies
  • Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
  • Knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies, including understanding of threat landscapes, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, risk identification, risk analysis, and risk mitigation strategies, IS Policy formulation, writing of SOPs and instructions.
  • Experience of incident response cycle, incident reports generation, and usage of SOAR technology to support SOC operations.
Terms and Conditions

The selected candidate will be hired initially for a contract period of 5 years, which may be extended if required.
