As a Train Control Engineer at our organization, you will be working on innovative projects applying your expertise in Train Control & Information Systems (TC&IS).

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves collaborating with dedicated and collaborative teammates to manage the development of TC&IS deliverables from conception to warranty completion.

You will work closely with teams across the business, overseeing the design process and ensuring the quality of various project domains.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Validate TC&IS Development, Configuration, Validation, and Management Plan application
  • Achieve specified software quality requirements and inform team members of associated responsibilities
  • Ensure quality across all domains of your project (Schematic, Apparatus, Software, etc.)
  • Deliver TC&IS Engineering outputs in line with Engineering Quality Cost Delay commitments
  • Manage interfaces and follow-ups of sub-systems
  • Support Industrial and Manufacturing areas during First Train Assembly
  • Support Commissioning and Validation area during First Train tests
About You

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience or understanding of rolling stock functional engineering across various train functions
  • Knowledge of network topologies and interfaces for industrial communication networks
  • Familiarity with model-based control systems and application tools like Control Build, Matlab/Simulink, Matrix, or similar
  • Proven work package and team management experiences
  • Hands-on experience in electrical and schematic design activities
  • Excellent communication abilities in English
