Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounts Payable professional to lead our AP team in Foodpanda Pakistan. As a Senior AP Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the preparation, authorization, and reconciliation of accounts payable documents, as well as ensuring the efficient working of all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Accounts Payable Documents: Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of accounts payable documents, including POs, GRNs, and invoices, to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  2. Liaise with Vendors: Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries, negotiate payment terms, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  3. Develop Budgetary Plans: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement budgetary plans to ensure efficient use of company resources.
  4. Authorize and Reconcile Payments: Authorize payment transactions, reconcile bank statements, and ensure accuracy of entries recorded in the ERP system.
  5. Prepare Reports and Analysis: Prepare and review monthly closing reports, VAT reports, and sales tax submissions to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • ACCA Qualified/Affiliate/Member: Possess relevant accounting certifications and qualifications.
  • Core Finance Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in core finance roles, preferably in accounts payable or treasury.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, SAP, and other relevant software tools.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholders and teams.
