Senior Network Engineer Position

Job Description:

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end fault and incident management, with the primary objective of resolving issues in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs). This role requires expertise in resolving complex faults that demand a deep understanding of procedural and technical knowledge.

This position involves autonomously performing tasks with moderate guidance, controlling technical resources for fault and incident resolution, investigating and resolving major service outages, and reporting such incidents to SLAs. Additionally, the Senior Network Engineer will initiate and coordinate preventive maintenance tasks and provide feedback on fault and incident management tools.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks with a moderate level of guidance, adhering to defined procedures and guidelines
  • Control technical resources for fault and incident resolution
  • Investigate and resolve major service outages
  • Report major service outages and trouble tickets to SLAs
  • Initiate and coordinate preventive maintenance tasks
  • Provide feedback on fault and incident management tools
Key Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need specialized or broader knowledge of theory and principles within the CS core domain, specifically biased towards MSC/HRL/STP/SBC/MGW. You should have direct experience handling Huawei CS core nodes, as well as good knowledge of GSM, GPRS, UMTS, and LTE technical aspects.

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, telecom engineering, software engineering, or IT is also required.
