Job Description

As a School Leader, you will be responsible for promoting high standards of evidence-based learning and teaching. This involves monitoring school progress across key performance indicators and focusing on improvement. You will also be responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining the best teachers in the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promoting a culture of mutual and continuous learning, respect, collaboration, and coordination within the school community.
  • Developing and implementing teacher selection processes to recruit quality teachers.
  • Creating and implementing school improvement plans based on need analysis.
  • Maintaining classroom quality through lesson planners and formal/informal classroom observations.
  • Providing feedback and support to teachers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitoring student performance by re-checking student copies and test papers.
  • Organizing and managing co-curricular activities, timetables, assemblies, periods, displays, libraries, and laboratories.
  • Attending training sessions and conducting on-the-job training for faculty members.
  • Conducting term tests and examinations in a transparent and timely manner.
