Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Transaction Tax Manager to join our team in Pakistan. As a seasoned professional, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and drive business growth by helping clients navigate and address the tax implications of their transactions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and participate in the successful delivery of transaction tax engagements

2. Assist senior managers in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and building client relationships

3. Contribute to building and maintaining key client relationships by delivering exceptional client service

4. Collaborate with a team of Transaction Tax professionals across Pakistan, MENA, and globally to combine diverse cross-border experience with local tax knowledge

5. Work as part of a multi-jurisdictional/disciplinary team within tax and across other service lines to pursue, manage, and deliver engagements

6. Assist with managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders

7. Build strong internal relationships within the regional and global transaction tax team and across other service lines

8. Assist with the development of more junior staff through coaching, delegation, and on-the-job training

Requirements:

1. Client-driven and strategically aware

2. Excellent communicator in various situations

3. Enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work

4. Strong motivator

5. Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Economics, Accounting, or Finance with an approved professional qualification or equivalent

6. Minimum 5 years of relevant Tax experience in business or industry

7. Broad exposure to transaction tax with focus on inbound and outbound investments

8. Strong managerial, organizational, project management, and analytical skills

9. Strong written and verbal English language skills

10. Proven track record with a leading professional services firm

11. Experience in managing a team and/or mentoring and developing more junior team members
