Job Overview

The Financial Operations Assistant is responsible for managing the organization's financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, maintaining accurate records, and providing liquidity monitoring and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Management:
  • Administer daily cash operations, manage accounts, and maintain relationships with banks.
  • Analyze and improve cash management processes to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement cash management strategies for existing department processes.
  • Forecast and monitor cash flow regularly.
  • Resolve payment process issues promptly.
  • Review bank charges and provide regular financial reports.
  • Manage corporate credit card programs effectively.
  • Maintain backup systems for all financial data.
  • Negotiate with banks as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve financial objectives.
  • Prioritize cash from all bank accounts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Managing Cash and Credit Card Deposit Operations, Analyzing and Improving Cash Management Processes, Developing and Implementing Cash Management Strategies, Forecasting and Monitoring Cash Flow, Resolving Payment Process Issues, Reviewing Bank Charges, Managing Corporate Credit Card Programs, Maintaining Backup Systems, Negotiating with Banks, Collaborating with Internal Stakeholders, and Prioritizing Cash from All Bank Accounts.
