Business Analyst Position
This role requires a Business Analyst to work closely with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to document business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to comprehend and document business objectives, processes, and requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Communication and Engagement: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of customer needs and strategies through both formal and informal communication. Facilitate project meetings and deliver presentations to diverse audiences, including senior management, business teams, and technical staff.
- Project Documentation: Develop and manage essential project documentation, including issue logs, meeting minutes, schedules, project summaries, and updates.
- Information Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into detailed insights, and identify business process/system inefficiencies.
- Requirements Documentation: Transform gathered information into clear and comprehensive business requirements documents, functional specifications, and other relevant documentation, such as swimlane diagrams, use cases, flow/sequence diagrams, future state proposals, and UAT plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in business process documentation, design, and analysis; business process workflow preferable.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and schedule and meet deadlines.
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
