Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative 3D Animator to join our team.

  • Create immersive characters, backgrounds, and scene transitions that bring ideas to life.
  • Collaborate with game designers and others to craft engaging storylines involving the characters.
  • Develop unique sketches, artwork, and illustrations that showcase your creativity.
  • Drawing detailed storyboards and concepting each story frame-by-frame.
  • Work with editors to combine animation layers, including backgrounds and graphics.
  • Sequence frames together to create seamless animation.
  • Design diverse characters with distinct personalities.
  • Timing characters' movements to soundtracks or voiceovers for a more captivating experience.
  • Pitch innovative concepts for characters and share ideas with clients.
  • Design animated backdrops for characters that transport them to new worlds.
  • Work within various animation techniques, including 2D animation, stop-motion, or computer-generated imagery.
  • Develop dynamic characters, objects, and environments that spring to life.
  • Produce icons, UI elements, and other 2D art requirements.
  • Provide artwork for reference use by the Art team, as well as promotional and marketing purposes.
  • Meet deadlines with completed and fully realized animations.
  • Communicate effectively with the team when assistance is needed or challenges arise on projects.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in 3D animation
  • Proficiency in software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
  • Strong understanding of lighting, texturing, and shading
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or related field
  • Experience with visual effects, motion capture, or other specialized areas
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools
