Compliance Advisor Role

We are seeking a Compliance Advisor to enhance our organization's adherence to processes, policies, and standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be able to effectively manage relationships with management, teams, and peers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance the organization's adherence to processes, policies, and standards by identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and assisting functional heads in implementing corrective actions for resolving compliance issues.
  • Conduct regular internal assessments to ensure that processes and policies within the organization are being followed, and review ongoing project work to highlight compliance issues and provide guidance on compliance matters.
  • Serve as an independent entity to ensure and enforce that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are investigated, recorded, and resolved appropriately.
  • Monitor and coordinate compliance activities across departments to stay informed of all compliance activities and identify trends.
  • Develop and maintain an effective compliance system, including processes, policies, and communication channels for the organization.
  • Evaluate that compliance procedures and policies are followed and continually improved. Maintain documentation of compliance activities.
  • Assist functional heads and HR in creating an effective compliance training program, including introductory training for new employees and ongoing trainings (refreshers) for all employees.
  • Prepare management reports on compliance operations and progress. Consolidate all review/audit report findings and action plans for senior management review.
  • Act as a confidential point of contact for employees to discuss and report compliance matters anonymously, seek clarification on compliance-related issues, and highlight potential risks.

  • Good business acumen and understanding of processes, policies, audits, and compliance.
  • Audit and compliance experience preferred, along with ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor Certification.
