Clinical Expert Nurse Specialist

As an expert clinical staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining optimum processes of nursing care and providing guidance to the healthcare team. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a resource person to develop strategies for staff management, learning, and competency development to achieve better patient care outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting clinical reviews of patients with staff and developing strategies for staff management, learning, and competency development
- Carrying out teaching activities related to clinical care, staff development, and providing assistance in patient care management on a daily-basis
- Ensuring competency development and evaluation of nursing staff performance
- Monitoring nursing staff's skills to identify gaps in theory and its integration in practice
- Ensuring timely updating of credentials, establishing standards of care with unit staff, and monitoring delivery of care according to set standards
- Monitoring and facilitating clinical outcomes of patients, developing and monitoring clinical indicators
- Reviewing clinical care processes of assigned areas and clinical care guidelines
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A BScN degree from an accredited school, preferably having a MScN or Master's degree in a relevant discipline, and a valid license from the Pakistan Nursing Council
- At least six years of relevant clinical experience
- Excellent exposure in teaching and learning, developing educational plans, conducting independent courses, and implementing in-service sessions
- Certification in specialty-based competencies, including BLS, ACLS, ECG interpretation, ventilation management, Hemodialysis, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Willingness to work in shift duties
