Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

KalSoft is a leading provider of software solutions and we require someone with a strong background in quality assurance to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in implementing, monitoring, and enhancing quality standards across projects and organizational processes in testing, automation, and software quality practices.

  1. Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts covering functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
  2. Define and implement testing strategies (manual + automation) based on project needs.
  3. Contribute to risk analysis and mitigation planning from a QA perspective.

Additionally, the candidate should have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, Appium, or equivalent.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is required. ISTQB or other software testing certifications will be a plus.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software QA and testing.
  • Strong experience in manual testing and at least 2+ years in test automation.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, Appium, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Knowledge of API testing, database testing (SQL), and mobile application testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
