Junior Accountant Position

This role involves managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports. Responsibilities include:

  1. Handling day-to-day financial tasks, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  2. Keeping financial records up-to-date using accounting software.
  3. Creating and analyzing financial statements, like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  4. Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
  5. Preparing and submitting tax returns, adhering to tax regulations.
  6. Working with auditors and stakeholders to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  7. Assessing financial performance and suggesting improvements.

Qualifications for the role are:

  1. A degree in accounting or a related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  4. Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks & ERP.
  5. Advanced MS Excel skills.
