Job Description

A crucial role in our organization, this position involves overseeing various financial aspects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Team Members: Assist senior and junior team members in their day-to-day activities.
  • Account Maintenance: Oversee the ongoing maintenance of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
  • Strategic Financial Guidance: Assist management in producing accurate budgets and providing strategic financial guidance.
  • Cashflow Management: Ensure proper utilization of cashflow and protection of company reserves.
  • Financial Audits: Conduct thorough audits of financial information to identify inconsistencies and areas for improvement.
  • Tax Planning Strategies: Develop tax planning strategies aligned with existing legislation to minimize financial liabilities.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date books of the company using various accounting software.
  • Communication: Draft letters, emails, and other necessary documents for effective communication.
  • Monthly Accounting Tasks: Deliver monthly accounting responsibilities accurately and on agreed timelines.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data using diverse tools and techniques to inform business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial accounts and supporting working papers in Excel.
  • Year-End Adjustments: Conduct year-end adjustment calculations, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, deferred or accrued income, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Possess strong analytical, communication, and computer skills to excel in this role.
  • Accounting and Financial Knowledge: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of accounting and financial processes.
  • English Language and Presentation Skills: Excellent English communication and presentational skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • Organizational and Interpersonal Skills: Display excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills: Possess advanced knowledge of MS Excel to perform complex financial analyses.
  • Ethical Behavior: Exhibit ethical behavior in all aspects of the job.
