This position involves working closely with students, parents, and colleagues to deliver high-quality instruction and support. The successful candidate will be an experienced educator with a passion for teaching and learning.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs of students with varying skill levels.
  • Assessing student progress, providing feedback, and making adjustments to instruction as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum, and to develop innovative instructional strategies.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to:

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance their teaching practice and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support student learning and well-being.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to promote positive relationships and effective communication.

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who can prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline.
  • Teaching certification for the level at which you will be instructing.
  • Prior experience as a computer teacher is advantageous, but not necessary.
