Job Title: DevOps Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Team Lead to join our technical team supporting a partner to manage, scale, and secure cloud and on-prem systems.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned DevOps expert to lead critical infrastructure at scale, drive best practices, reviews, incident response, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps/SRE engineers to achieve high-performance results.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, resilient systems across GCP and on-prem environments using Terraform, Helm, and IaC automation.
  • Build disaster recovery (DR) strategies with clear RTO/RPO targets, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices and monoliths, automating ops using Python, Bash, or Go, and integrating DevSecOps across the SDLC.
  • Secure networks, gateways, APIs, proxies, and service meshes, managing authentication (OAuth2, SAML, IAM) and zero-trust models.
  • Ensure compliance (ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA), patching, and threat management, improving SLAs, SLOs, and system reliability metrics.
Requirements:
  • Mandatory Certifications:
    • Google Cloud Professional (Architect or DevOps Engineer)
    • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
    • Security Certification (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent)
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure roles
    • 2+ years leading technical teams
    • Strong hands-on experience in GCP and on-prem systems
    • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, Helm
    • Strong scripting (Python, Bash, Go), database/cache (PostgreSQL, Redis), and security tools
