Librarian Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Librarian to provide library services and resources to our patrons.

1. Assist patrons in finding and accessing library materials, including books, articles, and other resources.
2. Organize and maintain library collections, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
3. Develop and implement engaging programs and activities for library users, fostering a love of learning and exploration.
4. Provide information literacy instruction to library users, equipping them with the skills needed to navigate complex information landscapes.
5. Process new materials for circulation, ensuring that library users have access to the latest titles and publications.
6. Assist with reference inquiries, providing expert guidance and support to library users.
7. Collaborate with staff to plan and execute events and initiatives, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
8. Participate in professional development to enhance librarianship skills, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.

1. Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
2. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
3. Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficient with library management systems and computer software, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows.
6. Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus.
7. Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and deadlines.
