Nursing Unit Leadership Position
  • As a nursing unit manager, oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care in assigned units by leading a team of nursing staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of safety and quality within assigned units, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives, focusing on patient-centered care.
  • Manage and evaluate the performance of nursing staff to identify areas for improvement and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Accurately document patient care activities and interventions in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to facilitate data-driven decision making.
  • Contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols to enhance patient care outcomes, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address system barriers to care, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of nursing staff to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care in assigned units.
  • Implement International Patient Safety Goals and Infection Control practices in assigned units to maintain a safe environment.
  • Regularly visit patients in assigned units to assess nursing care quality, gather feedback, and address concerns promptly to improve patient outcomes.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (MSN preferred), 5-6 years of clinical experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role to demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Valid Professional Nurses Council registration to practice professionally.
  • Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Electrocardiogram certification (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations professionally involving patients, physicians, or others with empathy and tact.
