Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and financial statement preparation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.

In addition to these duties, the Senior Accounting Professional will also be responsible for processing vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, monitoring the AP aging report, and managing payment schedules to ensure timely disbursements.

Other key responsibilities include resolving invoice discrepancies, communicating with vendors as needed, and maintaining vendor records to ensure compliance with internal controls and tax documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience with a blend of GL and AP responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations)
