Job Title: Mid-Level Mechanical Draftsman

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mid-Level Mechanical Draftsman to join our team at Keyway Solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a BTech or Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Engineering, with a proven track record of delivering quality mechanical designs using AutoCAD, and a minimum of two years of experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and Design: Utilize CAD software to create detailed mechanical drawings and blueprints for engineering projects.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and parts lists.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other team members to develop and refine mechanical designs.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the design and implementation phases.
  • Prototype Development: Assist in the creation and testing of prototypes to validate design concepts.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: BTech / Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in mechanical drafting using AutoCAD.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
